Townships: Get Free Help to Begin Recycling or Revamp an Existing Program

Local governments interested in improving the output of their current recycling program or establishing a new program may apply for technical assistance through Pennsylvania’s Recycling Technical Assistance Program.

Technical assistance, up to a value of $7,500, is available at no charge to Pennsylvania local governments selected to participate. Since 1998, more than 500 Recycling Technical Assistance projects have helped Pennsylvania communities maximize material recovery and ensure recycling sustainability.
