Thursday January 24th, 2019
Townships in Somerset, Fayette, Cambria, and Westmoreland counties can apply for mini-grants of $1,000 to $5,000 for projects that support and advance conservation and outdoor recreation in the Laurel Highlands Conservation Landscape. The deadline to apply is February 21, 2019.
Local governments, registered Pennsylvania non-profits, county conservation districts, and learning institutions are encouraged to apply.
A total of $50,000 in grant funding is available. All mini-grants require a 100 percent match, and the grant award cannot exceed 50 percent of the total project costs.
The Pennsylvania Environmental Council (PEC) is administering the grants. Additional information about the mini-grants is available at the PEC website.
