$600 Million in RACP Grant Awards Announced
Gov. Josh Shapiro announced nearly $600 million in awards for over 400 projects across Pennsylvania through the Commonwealth’s Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program. This is a reimbursement grant program that supports essential design, acquisition, and construction projects across the Commonwealth and funds projects with regional or multi-jurisdictional impact. More than 900 applications were made for this competitive program.
More than two dozen townships received direct grant awards for township buildings and community centers, fire houses, sewer projects, and more. Many of the total projects will be built in townships and include for-profit development for businesses, as well as non-profit projects to benefit the community. If the “Grant Amount Awarded” column is blank for a project, then it did not receive an award.
