Virtual Grant Workshop Slated for Recreation, Conservation Projects
Mark your calendars! The Department of Conservation and Natural Resources will hold a free, virtual workshop on November 3 from 9 a.m. to noon that is designed to help applicants develop project ideas to prepare a grant application for the Community Conservation Partnerships Program (C2P2), which will accept applications January 17 to April 5, 2023. DCNR’s Bureau of Recreation and Conservation staff will present grant program selection criteria, review current program priorities, and discuss eligible project categories.
2023 potential applicants are strongly encouraged to attend the virtual workshop. It is designed for municipal officials, consultants, board members, trail managers, land trust staff, and park and recreation professionals. A general session for all applicants will be followed by project type-specific breakout sessions. There will be ample time for project-specific Q&As with DCNR’s professional grant managers and regional advisors. To learn more or register, click here. To learn more about the program, click here.
