DEP Approves Nutrient Credit Tracking Tool for Wastewater Treatment Plants
The state Department of Environmental Protection has approved the Chesapeake Bay Nutrient Tracking Tool (CBNTT) for use with the Department’s Nutrient Credit Trading Program for wastewater treatment plants and agriculture. The new tool is supported by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and is available for calculating nonpoint source nutrient credits. The CBNTT uses the Chesapeake Bay Model Phase 6 delivery ratios, which will be used to certify credits generated by all credit generators. To view the Pennsylvania Bulletin notice, click here.
