Townships May Comment on Freight Plan 

Township officials also have the opportunity to comment on Pennsylvania’s draft 2045 Freight Movement Plan (FMP) until October 5. The FMP is federally required to propose strategies, recommend policies, and identify projects to improve multimodal freight movement. The plan reviews current and future trends in freight transportation and maintains a project-specific investment plan for federal funding purposes.
