April 15 Deadline to Advertise Township’s Audit Information 

By April 15, townships must publish a legal advertisement containing concise financial information prepared or approved by the elected auditors or CPA, whichever completed the 2022 annual audit for your township. The notice must include total assets, total liabilities, and total net position at year end, and total revenue, expenses, and changes in net position for the year just ended. If a full financial statement and auditors’ report are not published, copies must be supplied by the newspaper.
