PA State Data Center Launches New Portal 

The Pennsylvania State Data Center has launched a new Census 2020 Data Portal. The portal serves as a tool to host data localized to Pennsylvania and provides guidance, overviews, and interactive reports/visualizations to help users make sense of the Census 2020 data. Of interest to townships, much of the data is broken down into county and municipal level.   The portal features newly released data from the 2020 Census Demographic and Characteristics file. These products provide more detail to the population counts and basic demographic and housing statistics previously released, including counts by age, sex, race, and housing counts. The center anticipates adding files on a variety of topics to the portal over the coming weeks.
