U.S. Postal Service Expected to Increase Rates July 9
The U.S. Postal Service is expected to impose a 3-cent stamp increase on July 9 to offset inflation. A first-class stamp would increase from 63 to 66 cents, metered first class mail would increase from 60 to 63 cents, and postcards would increase from 48 to 51 cents if the proposal is approved by the Postal Regulatory Commission. This would be the second price increase this year.
