Governor Shapiro Visits Lower Alsace Township, Pledges Support for Flood Recovery
Gov. Josh Shapiro and Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency Director Randy Padfield visited the Lower Alsace Township building in Berks County to meet with local Lower Alsace Township leaders and first responders after Sunday’s flash flooding. State Sen. Judy Schwank, Rep. Mark Rozzi, and Berks County commissioners also met with officials for a situation briefing and a tour of the damage along Antietam Creek. The governor pledged his administration’s full support along with a multi-agency resource center in Berks County for Pennsylvanians impacted by the flooding.
