PSATS’ QuickBooks Series: Register Today!
Township treasurers, secretaries, and other administrative staff, are you looking to improve your QuickBooks skills? PSATS is offering a series of four virtual QuickBooks classes beginning Wednesday, October 25, and running into December. Space is filling up, so register today by clicking here.
These classes are designed to help you use QuickBooks to manage your municipality’s finances more effectively. Whether you are a beginner or have some experience with QuickBooks, there is a class for you. Plus, each class is eligible for three PMGA administration points!
Here is a brief overview of each class:
• 10/25 – QuickBooks and the Municipal Chart of Accounts – This class will show you how to use the state’s Chart of Accounts with QuickBooks.
• 10/26 – Payroll with QuickBooks – This class will teach you how to use QuickBooks Payroll to set up your payroll items, employee preferences, and payroll liability schedules. You will also learn how to e-pay and e-file forms with the IRS and state agencies.
• 11/30 – QuickBooks Year-End Reports – This class will show you how to print W-2s and 1099s and file all year-end taxes and reports with the IRS and state agencies.
• 12/7 – Intermediate QuickBooks – This class will help you discover the benefits of using the Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R) systems in QuickBooks. You will learn how to enter and pay bills, credits, and sales receipts, as well as how to create single and batch invoices.
