U.S. DOT Infrastructure Grant Opportunity for Roads, Stormwater
U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) announced the Notice of Funding for FY2024’s Rebuilding American Infrastructure with Sustainability and Equity (RAISE) Grant Program. This program is funded through the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law for planning or constructing transportation infrastructure projects that improve safety, environmental sustainability, mobility, and community connectivity.
Townships are eligible to apply through February 28 for capital and planning projects, including:
- Highway, bridge, and other road projects
- Public transportation
- Port infrastructure investments
- Intermodal projects
- Projects to replace or rehabilitate culverts or prevent stormwater runoff to improve aquatic species habitats
