DCNR Accepting Applications for Community Conservation Partnerships Program Grants
The state Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) is now accepting the 2024 round of Community Conservation Partnerships Program (C2P2) grants until April 3, 2024. Community Conservation Partnerships Program grants can be used for projects related to parks, recreation, and conservation, including:
- Planning, acquisition, and development of public parks;
- Recreation areas;
- Motorized and non-motorized trails;
- River conservation and access;
- Conservation of open space; and
- Community and Watershed Forestry.
Projects will be selected, in part, on how they align to the priorities outlined in the Statewide Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan 2020-2024. Most projects will require a 50% matching contribution. DCNR Regional Advisors are available to discuss match requirements and eligibility. To learn more, videos are now live on DCNR’s YouTube channel, including a recorded workshop.
