Homeland Security and FEMA Cybersecurity Grants, Survey Open Now!
The state Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) announced the availability of $379.4 million in grant funding, with up to $10.4 million for Pennsylvania, for the Fiscal Year 2023 State and Local Cybersecurity Grant Program (SLCGP).
The commonwealth is now surveying local government entities to gauge interest and to explain the cybersecurity initiatives that are available. The FFY2023 State and Local Cybersecurity Grant Program Survey should only take about 5 minutes to complete and is the first of several steps in receiving services through the SLCGP. Future steps will be communicated as needed to ensure townships are fully aware of any required actions to continue to move forward through the process. Survey responses are due by Friday, February 16, 2024, at 5 p.m. Questions can be directed to slcgp-pa@pa.gov.
