Debby to Arrive in Pennsylvania Today
Heavy rains are expected in much of the state, with flood warnings in place from Fayette to Adams counties on the southern border and from Potter to Susquehanna counties in the Northern Tier. Wind advisories and tornado warnings are expected so be safe as you protect your residents.
The Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency (PEMA) is reminding Pennsylvanians to exercise caution during periods of heavy rain and expected flooding on roads and in low-lying areas. PennDOT is also reminding motorists to avoid driving across roads covered with water: Turn Around, Don’t Drown. Conditions on major roads can be found at www.511pa.com/.
Stay dry (try to, anyway!) and stay safe! We appreciate what our emergency responders and township public works employees do to keep our communities safe in all manner of hazardous weather.
