Cybersecurity Grants Survey

In 2022, the federal Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act created the State and Local Cybersecurity Grant Program to provide funding to address cybersecurity risks, strengthen critical cyber infrastructure, and ensure resilience against cyber threats to services governments provide. Eighty percent of this funding must go to local government entities, including townships.

Pennsylvania’s Cybersecurity Planning Committee has chosen several initiatives for Local Governmental Entities to continue and to expand cybersecurity tools and services already in place throughout the commonwealth and is now looking for local government input on what initiatives to continue and what new initiatives to bring on.

Townships should have received an email with a link to the State and Local Cybersecurity Grant Program (SLCGP) Baseline Survey earlier this month from slcgp-pa@pa.gov to help assess cybersecurity needs of townships. As a reminder, please have one representative from your township complete this brief survey by Friday, August 23, 2024. Please address any questions to slcgp-pa@pa.gov.
