Flagger Training – Instant Certification!
Does your flagger card expire in 2024? Are you planning to work on a road and need training? Learn how to safely manage traffic at your road construction projects with the PSATS Flagger Training Certification Course. Pennsylvania requires that anyone engaging in flagging activities on any road open to the public complete an approved flagger training course every three years. Get certified and keep yourself and motorists safe. At PSATS, we prioritize safety, compliance, and efficiency in controlling traffic. We equip participants with essential knowledge, skills, and best practices. Individuals who are performing work such as maintenance and/or construction activities on ANY ROAD OPEN TO THE PUBLIC, including roadmasters, road crews, and street superintendents must have an up-to-date flagger training card to perform this public safety task. Others who would benefit include safety coordinators, law enforcement personnel, and municipal engineers and managers. Each class concludes with a certification exam. A personalized wallet certification card will be provided to each registrant after successfully passing the exam. The training fee is $55 for PSATS members and $75 for non-members. PSATS is finalizing the remainder of its 2024 flagger training classes. Please reach out to Trisha Maxwell to schedule this important training at tmaxwell@psats.org or 717-763-0930, ext. 159. Would your township like to host a flagger training class? If so, the facility must have room for at least 12 participants when set up in classroom style and have a screen or white wall for projection. |
