Historic Collection and Preservation Grants Available Until 12/12
The National Park Service has announced the return of the Save America’s Treasures (SAT) grant program to help preserve nationally significant historic properties and collections that convey our nation’s rich heritage. Townships are eligible to apply for grants in two categories through December 12, 2024:
Preservation projects fund planning and “bricks and mortar” preservation/conservation work on historic buildings and structures listed in the National Register of Historic Places for national significance or designated a National Historic Landmark. These awards are managed by the National Park Service.
Collections projects determined to be of national significance, including artifacts, museum collections, documents, sculptures, and other works of art. These awards are managed by the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
Please note that individual projects are only eligible for one SAT grant. For more information, visit the program page or contact STLPG@nps.gov.
