The U.S. Internal Revenue Service set the 2025 standard mileage rate for the business use of a vehicle at 70 cents per mile driven for business use. A township board of supervisors may establish a mileage rate for use of personal vehicles for township business provided it is no higher than the IRS rate.
When elected or appointed, township officials automatically become PSATS members through their township's membership.
