DCED Approves Local Government Grants

Gov. Tom Wolf announced the approval of projects through the state Department of Community and Economic Development’s Municipal Assistance Program (MAP). MAP funding may be used for shared services, community planning, and floodplain management. Approved projects include $23,000 to Upper Makefield, Newtown, and Wrightstown townships in Bucks County to update the Newtown Area Joint Zoning Council multi-municipal comprehensive plan.
