Reminder: Mandatory 10-Digit Dialing for 814 Area Code Begins April 3rd 

The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission is reminding everyone within the 814-area code that 10-digit dialing will be mandatory for all telephone calls in the region beginning on Saturday, April 3, 2021. Now is the time to confirm that your mobile and landline phones and tablets are set with 10-digit numbers, as well as alarm and security systems, Internet dial-up systems, voicemail and call-forwarding and any other device that can save, store and automatically dial phone numbers.
