PA Unemployment Rate at 7.3% in March     

The state Department of Labor and Industry has announced that Pennsylvania’s unemployment rate for March was 7.3%, more than a full point above the March national unemployment rate of 6%. Pennsylvania’s civilian labor force – the estimated number of residents working or looking for work – increased by 1,000 over the month as employment rose slightly more than unemployment declined. Click here for more.
