DCED Broadband Program Accepting Applications

The state Department of Community and Economic Development is now accepting applications for $5 million in Unserved High-Speed Broadband Funding Grants. While only non-governmental entities may apply, townships can encourage broadband providers or other non-governmental entities to apply for grants of up to $1 million or 75% of costs to deploy middle and last-mile high-speed broadband infrastructure to unserved areas in Pennsylvania.
