Reminder: Natural Gas Firefighting Grants Available Until October 15

Applications are being accepted until October 15 from fire companies and emergency medical services in the 40 counties where unconventional gas wells are located or counties that directly border these counties. The grant is part of the 2021 Act 13 Unconventional Gas Well Grant Fund.  

Grants of $2,000 to $6,000 are available for professional national certification of members, purchase of firefighting, emergency medical, rescue, and air monitoring equipment used at or related to an unconventional gas well pad incident, and training for incidents at these pads. Click here to learn more.
