Every municipality in Monroe County has officially passed an America250PA to celebrate 250 years of American history! Congratulations to all the townships in Monroe County for inspiring others to join the movement! 

America250PA was formed to celebrate the 250th birthday of the United States, taking place in 2026, and Pennsylvania’s leading role in the birth of our nation. Townships can become official partners of America250PA by approving a sample commemorative resolution at an upcoming meeting (should you choose). Townships are encouraged to plan events, observances, and other activities to highlight their community’s importance in the commonwealth over the last 250 years.
