ARPA Project and Expenditure Report Now Available

ARPA Project and Expenditure Report Now Available

The U.S. Treasury Department is now accepting the second annual Project and Expenditure Report for the American Rescue Plan Act program. As a reminder, this report must be submitted by all townships who received ARPA funds by April 30, 2023, covering ARPA activity from April 1, 2022, through March 31, 2023. Township officials can access Treasury’s portal using an existing login.gov account (the same login used for SAM.gov) at https://portal.treasury.gov/compliance

Please note these important updates for the second annual report:

  • The April 2023 report is the FINAL opportunity for townships to elect the Standard Allowance, a revenue replacement option that allows townships to use up to their entire award amount (not to exceed $10 million) to provide general government services, which gives townships the most flexibility for using the funds.
  • Treasury has updated the Allocated Amount information within the portal to include the first and second tranches plus the redistribution amounts that townships received with the second tranche and as an additional payment in July 2022. Please verify that the total amount dedicated for the Standard Allowance on the “Recipient Specific” page of the portal matches this updated allocated amount.

PSATS recently hosted a webinar to provide an overview of the ARP Funds and the process to submit the Project and Expenditure Report. Townships can find this presentation and other helpful resources on the PSATS American Rescue Plan webpage
