CDC Issues Updated Travel Guidance for Vaccinated People
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has updated its guidance for people who have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19, which is defined as two weeks after either a singledose shot or the second shot of a two-shot series. Fully vaccinated people can resume domestic travel as a low-risk activity and do not need to get tested before or after travel or selfquarantine after travel.
Fully vaccinated people do not need to get tested before traveling internationally unless required by their destination or self-quarantine after arriving back in the United States. Fully vaccinated people should continue to wear a mask and take other precautions during travel.
