Congratulations to the Winners! 

The campaign ads are finally over and there are a lot of new faces. Pennsylvanians have a new Governor and US Senator. Congrats to Governor–elect Shapiro and Senator-elect Fetterman. The PA delegation to Congress is now 9D-8R. While the US House has a new majority,  the US Senate remains too close to call. In Harrisburg, the State Senate will be 28R-22D while the State House control remains too close to call.  

Take time to reach out to a new legislator, even if your township is simply new to their district. Many incoming freshmen legislators may have little, if any, experience with local government or even understand what important part that townships play in providing services to your mutual constituents. Now is the time to begin to educate them on the value and role of local government.
