DCED Announced Municipal Assistance Program Grant Awardees

The state Department of Community and Economic Development announced grant awards from the Municipal Assistance Program to 36 projects in 23 counties. More than $1.6 million was awarded through this program, which supports local governments with implementing shared service activities such as multi-municipal comprehensive plans and high-impact projects that serve multiple municipalities.  

PSATS applauds the State Legislature and Governor for funding this important program. Dozens of townships will benefit from these awards, many through multi-municipal comprehensive plan updates or development of new plans, traffic impact study updates, regional police studies, and more.
