DCNR Provides Weekly Fall Foliage Report; Administration Promotes Fall in PA
Pennsylvanians who enjoy viewing the commonwealth’s beautiful fall foliage can look for the state Department of Conservation and Natural Resources’ weekly fall foliage reports, published each Thursday. This week’s report shows foliage in Somerset and Wayne counties reaching its best color, while foliage in the following counties (primarily Northern Tier and northeast) is approaching its best color: Bradford, Clearfield, Lackawanna, Monroe, Pike, Potter, Susquehanna, Tioga, and Wyoming.
The state Department of Community and Economic Development is actively promoting all that Pennsylvania has to offer this fall in the “It’s Fall-ier in Pennsylvania” campaign. The outreach promotes Pennsylvania as the best place to experience the very best of autumn, from unrivaled fall foliage and historical haunts to seasonal treats.
