DEP Stream and Watershed Restoration Projects Approved

The state Department of Environmental Protection awarded more than $3.4 million in grants to projects to improve water quality and fish and wildlife habitat throughout the Chesapeake Bay and other Pennsylvania watersheds. All but two of these projects will take place in townships and include green stormwater infrastructure, planting of riparian buffers, treatment systems for Abandoned Mine Discharge, stream restoration, and more. Click here for the press release.
