Don’t miss your chance to get your township recognized for its outstanding contributions. The deadline for the following four award programs is January 31:

• President’s Leadership Awards: Honoring one exceptional supervisor and one outstanding manager or secretary.

• Citizen Communication Awards: Celebrating townships’ efforts to engage with residents in print and digital formats. Two townships – one with a population under 5,000 and one with a population of 5,001 or greater – will receive the Outstanding Citizen Communication Award.

• Youth Awards: Recognizing youth groups that collaborate with townships of the second class on impactful initiatives.

• Excellence in Intergovernmental Cooperation Award: Acknowledging municipalities that partner to complete projects and provide services.

Townships are also encouraged to apply for the Road and Bridge Safety Improvement Awards, presented in partnership with PennDOT and with deadline of Friday, March 7.

Award winners will be honored at the 2025 Annual Conference Excellence Awards ceremony.
