The Pennsylvania Treasury now processes payments of township funds. To prepare for the upcoming deposits of liquid fuels payments, township officials should look at records to ensure that last year’s payment was processed to the correct account. If it was not, contact your municipal services representative to set up the upcoming payment is deposited directly into your liquid fuels account.  

Townships may have different accounts set up for deposits of various state distributions. It is important to ensure that other state funds are not incorrectly deposited into your liquid fuels account. Check deposits on record for the last year and if any were deposited into the incorrect account, update direct deposit information with the agency responsible for that deposit.
