Federal Electric Vehicle Charging Funds Awarded 

Yesterday, the state Department of Transportation announced the second round of conditional awards for the federal National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure funding, which will be used for the installation of electric charging facilities in Pennsylvania. Philadelphia (the only municipality) was joined on the award list by private-sector applicants, most of whom currently operate travel centers or gas stations or will place the new charging stations at these locations.
