Federal REAL ID Enforcement Begins in One Year 

Federal enforcement of REAL ID is scheduled to begin on May 3, 2023. The oft-delayed regulation will require individuals who want to fly or visit federal facilities to have a REAL ID-compliant driver’s license or photo ID card.
