First Interest Rate Cut in 4 Years 

As previously predicted in the Morning News, the Federal Reserve Board cut interest rates yesterday less than 60 days before the general election. The reduction was half a percent. While divided, the majority of the board believes that inflation has slowed enough for the rate decrease despite current jobs numbers. This means that the cost to borrow, as well as investment returns will go down.
