Grants Available for Historic Preservation

Grant applications are being accepted for construction and project grants for historic resources that are listed or eligible for listing in the National Register of Historic Places. Local governments are eligible to apply for these grants through the Keystone Historic Preservation Grant program administered by the Pennsylvania Historical & Museum Commission. The deadline is March 1, 2021. The program supports projects that identify, preserve, promote, and protect Pennsylvania’s historic properties for the benefit of the public and the revitalization of communities.

Project grants are available for planning and development initiatives that enhance historic preservation in communities. These includes municipal planning initiatives focused on historic resources and may be used to meet building- or project-specific planning goals. A webinar will be held on January 13 at 10 a.m. to discuss this grant. Click here to register for this free webinar.
