Intuit Rumor Dispelled, QuickBooks Class Offered at Conference 

Recent rumors have stated that townships that have QuickBooks will need to upgrade to QuickBooks online. This is incorrect as 2023 QuickBooks Desktop Pro is being continued by Intuit for $549 annually. Desktop Payroll is also available. 

PSATS will offer a QuickBooks class on April 23 at the 2023 PSATS Annual Educational Conference & Exhibit Show in Hershey, with separate registration. Understanding Cash Accounting and QuickBooks will go over accounting basics, including assets, liabilities, and revenue and expenditures, as well as how they fit together. The class will also look at the “backside” of this in QuickBooks, review definitions of the most common municipal accounting terms, and do some accounting exercises for better understanding.
