Is Housing a Problem?

We want to know. There are state and federal politicians, along with some in the media telling us that local government land use policies have caused a housing shortage. In fact, the House is preparing to take up legislation to create statewide zoning to allow “by right,” multi-family housing in commercial and developments zoned for single family homes.

PSATS needs data. We are collecting information on recently approved housing. Has your township approved any plans or permits for residential housing since January? If so, please let us know by filling out an extremely short housing survey on our website.
