LCB Sends $1.5 Million in Licensing Fees to Municipalities
The state Liquor Control Board is releasing more than $1.5 million in licensing fees to 687 municipalities in which the licensees are located. Host municipalities will receive payments ranging from $25 to $917,600 (Philadelphia).
This is a decrease from the $1.9 million distributed to 1,301 municipalities in September 2020 due to the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board’s waiving of 2021 license fees for holders of restaurant, retail dispenser, club, catering club, and hotel licenses, as well as manufacturing licenses, such as wineries, breweries, and distilleries. Host municipalities should not expect a payment in September 2021 due to the waiver.
