LCB Sends $2.2 Million in Licensing Fees to Municipalities
The state Liquor Control Board is releasing more than $2.2 million in licensing fees to 1,359 municipalities in which the licensees are located. Host municipalities will receive payments ranging from $25 to $359,875 (Pittsburgh).
This marks the full return of the licensing fees since the LCB waived 2021 license fees for holders of restaurant, retail dispenser, club, catering club, and hotel licenses, as well as manufacturing licenses, such as wineries, breweries, and distilleries. Host municipalities did not receive a payment in September 2021 due to the waiver.
