New Federal Charges Filed Against Suspended City Manager
The Courier Express is reporting that new federal charges of conspiracy and federal program fraud have been filed against Herm Suplizio, the suspended manager of the City of DuBois, who is alleged to have stolen hundreds of thousands of public and nonprofit dollars. Because the federal charges are the same or like state charges against Suplizio, the state Office of Attorney General is withdrawing all of its charges and allowing the federal case to proceed.
