Statewide policing fee? Statewide zoning coup? A new state bureaucracy funded by issuing fines to local governments?   

PSATS Executive Director Dave Sanko is a guest on September’s edition of “Behind the Headlines,” a statewide TV program from the Susquehanna Valley Center for Public Policy, an independent, non-partisan, non-profit public policy research organization.  

Dave responded to questions which included major township and local government concerns in Harrisburg that would impact townships, from an unnecessary and unfair State Police Patrol Use Tax, to continued attempts to preempt local land-use control and creating a new Harrisburg bureaucracy to fine local governments, non-profits and charities. Dave gets into why these ideas themselves, are problems.
