Ongoing Opportunity: Waterway Access Mini Grant Program

Ongoing Opportunity: Waterway Access Mini Grant Program

The Pennsylvania Organization for Watersheds and Rivers (POWR) is now accepting applications for the Statewide Waterway Access Mini Grant Program. This program, supported by the Pa. Fish and Boat Commission and DCNR, is designed to help meet growing demand for non-motorized boating opportunities. Townships are eligible to apply on a rolling basis throughout the year.

Grants of up to $30,000 are available for design and engineering, construction, or upgrade and rehabilitation of non-motorized public access projects. Priority will be given to projects that improve recreational access to waterways as well as those that support and advance POWR’s mission, specifically the facilitation, stewardship, and enjoyment of Pennsylvania’s waterways. A one-to-one match is required. For more information, visit POWR’s website.
