OOR Updates Right-to-Know Law Fee Schedule
The Office of Open Records has updated its official fee schedule that townships must use when charging for Right-to-Know Law requests.
The major changes to the schedule are:
- The first 1,000 black and white copies remain at up to $.25 per copy, but only $.20 per copy may be charged for any copies beyond that.
- The maximum charge for a CD or DVD is the actual cost up to $1 per disc, down from $3 per disc.
- Clarification in the footnotes that agencies cannot charge for records that they are able to redact securely by electronic means.

The OOR also posted updated draft regulations, which PSATS will review and comment on. Click here for the draft regulations.
