Pa. Announces Open Round of Redevelopment Assistance Capital Grants
The Commonwealth has announced another round of grants through the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP) administered by the Office of the Budget for the acquisition and construction of regional economic, cultural, civic, recreational, and historical improvement projects.
RACP projects are authorized in the Redevelopment Assistance section of the Capital Budget Itemization Act, must have a regional or multi-jurisdictional impact, and must generate substantial increases or maintain current levels of employment, tax revenues, or other measures of economic activity. RACP projects can be up to 50 % state-funded and must have a non-state, local match.
How to apply for funding – Candidates must submit an electronic application (e-RACP application) to apply for these grant funds during an open funding round. Please note that the e-RACP application has changed slightly so be sure to reference the step-by-step instructions for completing the online submission process.
