PSATS Hosting Free Classes on Solar Farms for Municipal Officials & Staff

Are you interested in learning more about grid-scale solar projects that might be coming to your township? PSATS is offering a series of free, half-day educational sessions across the state for municipal officials and staff.

Tom Murphy, the former director of Penn State’s large-scale energy research center and now PSATS’ Solar Educator, will provide updates on solar activity throughout the state. He will also discuss ordinance development issues and challenges, including sample ordinance language, and answer any questions you may have.

This is a fantastic opportunity for your township to get up to speed on large solar projects and better prepare for future development activities.
