PSP Launches Body-Worn Camera Initiative
The Pennsylvania State Police has begun a pilot program to ensure department readiness for the implementation of body-worn cameras. Patrol troopers assigned to Troop H, Carlisle, will wear the cameras while on duty during the 60-day pilot, which will allow the department to determine best practices and policies and identify needs for any additional equipment or software features. When the pilot concludes, the department plans to implement body-worn cameras at all 87 patrol stations. Click here to read the press release.
