Reminder: Grants Available for Severe Stream Erosion from Ida until December 8

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Natural Resources Conservation Service is taking applications until December 8 for streambank stabilization due to damage from Tropical Storm Ida. Projects must be in the following eligible counties: Berks, Bradford, Bucks, Chester, Huntingdon, Luzerne, Lycoming, Monroe, Montgomery, Pike, Snyder, Sullivan, Susquehanna, Tioga, and York Counties. The funds will help local governments stabilize severely eroded stream banks that threaten homes, businesses, and utilities. Click here to learn more.
