Reminder: Newly Elected, Reelected Township Officials Must Take Oath of Office

Before assuming the duties of office, newly elected and re-elected township supervisors and other elected township officials must take an oath of office. This oath must be administered by a judge, district magistrate, or notary and filed with the township secretary. The oath is available by logging onto psats.org and choosing “Legislation & Policy” and then “Resource Center.” Look under “Forms & Applications.”
